Event Date:
Wednesday, October 26, 2022 - 1:00pm

The Great Falls Public Library is thrilled to present our new Gibson Park Story Walk to the community!

We'll be hosting a viewing of the Story Walk and ribbon-cutting ceremony on Wednesday October 26th at 1:00 pm at Gibson Park at the start of the Story Walk.  (River’s Edge Trail to the South of the Bandshell--See map below)

A Story Walk combines the joy of reading and the benefits of walking together outdoors.   Story Walk is an educational activity that places the pages from a children’s story along a walking route.  Story Walks are an innovative and delightful way to promote reading and the outdoors at the same time.  The first stories featured in our Gibson Park Story Walk are Stella Luna by Janell Cannon and If You're A Monster and You Know It by Ed Emberley and Rebecca Emberle.

Media and guests are welcome to walk the loop and read the stories, take photographs, and ask questions!

The new permanent Gibson Park Story Walk was made possible with funds from the Cross Charitable Foundation, Community Development Block Grant program and generous donations from individuals in the community.
