On this 80th anniversary of his death, join us in honoring Shep, the faithful dog. Eighty some years ago Shep's human died and the good dog escorted his human to the railyard where they loaded the deceased on a train bound for home and burial. Shep stayed behind and for six years met every arriving train, looking for his human. Come hear the rest of the story of world-famous, loyal Shep.

Sponsored by the Paris Gibson Month Celebration Committee, speakers will include: Susie McIntyre, Ken Robison, Bill Zins, Jack Gladstone, Brian Morger, Randy Morger, Steve Kelly, Paul Furthmyer, Jim Kelly, Dirk Smith, and a Burlington Northern Santa Fe Railroad representative will be there to present a check for the Montana School for the Deaf and Blind.

A short video about Shep by Eric Visocam will also be featured, and Jack Gladstone will present his song, "Old Shep."

This event is free and will be held in the Library's Cordingley Room, June 30 at 7PM.
