Annual Wordmeister Contest set for March 28

Verbivores, logophiles, word nerds, linguaphiles and lexical enthusiasts unite on March 28 for the annual Wordmeister Contest at the Great Falls Public Library. The event kicks off at 6 pm in the Cordingley Room. 

Costumes are suggested for team members, but are not required. The event is hosted by Art Taft and moderated by Jim Heckel, former Great Fall Public Library director. Teams can pre-register in person the day of the event or online. If you are on a team, plan on arriving at 5:30 pm so the event can start at 6. Adults and teens are welcome to join in the competition. We will have a food donation bin from the Great Falls Food Bank, so please consider bringing non-perishable food items even if you are not joining a team. For questions/information, contact Jim Heckel at 406-564-7007 or jheckel8@msn.com or contact the Library.
