The Great Falls Public Library offers a variety of programs for teens 12 to 18 and their families. These events are free and open to the public, and library cards and pre-registration are not required to attend.
Programs for teens include:
Lego Club is a space for kids and teens age 5 to 14 to construct Lego projects and socialize. It meets on Thursdays from 4:00 to 5:00, and no sign-up is required. Please build with our Legos-we wouldn’t want yours to get lost.
Anime and Manga Club is a club for fans 10 to 14. Join us one Saturday a month at 2:00 for a new fandom-inspired activity. Please contact Youth Services staff for this month’s project.
Word Warriors Writing Workshop encourages young writers 10-14 with a monthly discussion of the fundamentals, followed by a writing prompt. It meets one Wednesday a month at 2:00. Please contact Youth Services staff for this month’s theme.
Move it @ the Library is a new free family fitness program for ages 8 and up. Fitness classes in a variety of formats from Tai Chi to Zumba will be held on Saturday mornings at 10:00. Please contact Youth Services staff for class formats and instructors. Note: A parent or legal guardian must attend with and sign a waiver for their child to participate.
Play Dungeons & Dragons at the Library on Saturdays from 3:30 to 5:30. Volunteers are available to help new players create their characters.
Try your hand at building, crafting, sewing, and much more at Family Makerspace on Saturday afternoons at 4:00. Please contact Youth Services staff to learn more about specific projects.
Coming soon! The AV Club is a media creation club for teens 12 to 18. Create YouTube videos and record music with our new portable studio provided by the Great Falls Public Library Foundation. Please see Youth Services staff for details.
