Young Adults

Teens have access to their own unique space at the Great Falls Public Library.

Teen Scene is equipped with 2 internet computers and a large collection of teen books, dvd’s, cd’s and graphic novels.

We have booths for studying or tables for hanging out with friends!

The Great Falls Public Library offers a variety of programs for teens 12 to 18 and their families. These events are free and open to the public, and library cards and pre-registration are not required to attend.

 

Programs for teens include:

 Teen Crafts and Games-A Friday after school hangout space for teens 12 to 18, with a new project each week.

Word Warriors Creative Writing Workshop-A monthly writing lab for young authors 10 to 14.

Manga Club– A monthly reading and art club for fans 10 to 14.

Dumbledore’s Army-A once-a-month program for Harry Potter fans 8 to 18.

STEAM Challenge-A Summer Reading special, STEAM Challenge is a hands-on science and engineering program for ages 5 to 14.

 Lego Club-A social space for Lego creation for kids and teens ages 3 to 14. In July, we enter Lego projects in the Montana State Fair.

Family Makerspace-A hands-on crafting and engineering program for kids, teens, and their families.

Family Game Night-Gaming for kids, teens, and families, sponsored by Downtown Dice & Games.
