Purchase materials for the library in honor, or in memorial, of another. For donations of $20 or more a bookplate may be placed in purchased materials. To do so, fill out this Donation Form and return it to the library. The form can also be used if no bookplate is desired.
Donate funds to the library and the community. Using this Donor Directive Form, you may leave it to us to determine how they would best benefit the library at this time, or you may designate an area where you would like to see the funds applied.
There are many ways to support the Library Foundation: through an annuity, will or living trust, permanent endowment, donation of assets from a qualified retirement plan, cash gifts, or donations of securities or savings bonds. Your employer may match your donation, as do many companies. Or your employer may have a giving program that contributes funding to nonprofit organizations such as the Library Foundation. Because the Great Falls Public Library Foundation is a 501(c)3 charitable organization, gifts to the Foundation are tax-exempt.
Here’s a great way to show pride in your library. We have a growing selection of cool gear available for purchase: t-shirts and fleece vests for adults and kids, book journals, book bags, key chains and lots more. Check out the gear the next time you’re in the library.
Volunteer your time at the library. There are many opportunities to volunteer at the library and we have large numbers of community members who work with us every month. If you are interested in donating some of your time to the library, contact Aaron Kueffler by telephone at 453-0349.
Friends of the Library is a volunteer organization that values, supports and champions the public library in ways that can include, but are not limited to, advocacy, sponsorship and organizing special events and projects for the library. As a Friends’ member you can choose your own level of involvement. You may opt for an active role, such as attending meetings, volunteering, organizing and working on projects, or you may prefer to support the library through membership dues alone. Whatever you choose, your involvement is important to the library and the community.
The Great Falls Public Library encourages and welcomes donations of materials to be used for the benefit of the Library. The viability of collections depend, to some extent, upon the generosity of people willing to support the Library through their contributions. You can download a Gift materials form, which also explains guidelines for types of materials the library can accept, or contact the library at 453-0349 for more information.
The library partners with other organizations in order to provide the community with quality programs and services. Marshall Orthodontics and Achieve Montana have both contributed to our Summer Reading Program and we appreciate their efforts.
We have also recently partnered with USB Memory Direct. We purchased imprinted USB drives as gifts for our valuable volunteers. The company then generously offered to give a set number of drives to the library each year.
