Storytime

Storytime programs build early literacy, motor, and social skills through songs, crafts, and stories with an exciting new theme every month and a new book every week.  Storytime is held on Wednesdays and Thursdays from 10:30 to 11:30am.  Programs are free and open to the public.  We hope to see you!

Age 30 months to 5 years with accompanying adult: August 2, 9, 16, 23, and 30

Age 3 to 7 years with accompanying adult: August 3, 10, 17, 24, and 31

Theme: Superheroes

Time: 10:30 to 11:30 am

Location: Basement-Cordingley Room

 

What: Sensory Storytime-A safe space for kids with disabilities

Dates: August 2, 16, and 30

Who: All kids age 2 to 10 with accompanying adult

Time: 1:30-2:30 pm

Location: Basement-Cordingley Room

What: Elementary Storytime

Who: Kids age 5 to 12 and their families

Date: July 8

Time: 11:30 am-12:30 pm

Location: Kids’ Place

 

 

What: Spanish/English Bilingual Storytime

Dates: August 12 and 26

Who: Kids 2 – 10 years old and their families

Time: 10:30 to 11:30 am

Location: Basement-Cordingley Room

 

 

What: Elementary Storytime

Who: Kids age 5 to 12 and their families

Date: August 5

Time: 11:30 am-12:30 pm

For more than 10 children please telephone one week prior to your visit.

We request that adults remain with the children in their care to:

  • Model appropriate listening skills
  • Participate in the singing and fingerplays
  • Reinforce responsibility
  • Encourage positive interactions
