YOUTH SERVICES ANNUAL PROGRAMMING BREAK
 

When: Tuesday, August 15 to Tuesday, September 5
Audience: Kids and teens of all ages and their families

 

What: Thank you for making Summer, 2023 the best yet! Every year following our Summer Reading
Program, the Youth Services Department takes a break from programming to clean up and plan Fall
events. Programs for kids and teens will pause beginning Tuesday, August 15 resume on Wednesday,
September 6. Storytime and Toddler Time will not meet during this time.

 

Beginning in September, Storytime will meet on both Wednesdays and Thursdays from 10:30 to 11:30!

The Youth Services Department hosts a variety of educational and recreational programs for children and teens of all ages and their families. These events are free and open to the public. Visitors are welcome, and library cards are typically not required to attend. To view our events calendar, click here. 

Youth Services staff are available for reader’s advisory, reference, research and homework support, and other questions at the Kids’ Place desk.

Attention teachers and others who serve kids and teens: Contact Youth Services staff to schedule a field trip! Youth Services staff are available to lead an in-person or virtual library tour, research support field trip, or hands-on craft or STEAM event for your group. We provide a fun fieldtrip experience free of charge while sharing information with you and your students about the resources and programs we have to offer them to keep reading skills strong this summer. We look forward to hearing from you!
