Leap into Science--Wind Lab

Attention young scientists! Join us for Leap Into Science, a hands-on science investigation series for kids 3-8 and their families. The curriculum behind this innovative STEAM program was created by the Franklin Institute.
Leap Into Science will meet on the following Thursday mornings in June from 10:30 to 11:30 in the Cordingley Room (basement):
- June 9-Light & Shadow Lab--Explore light and shadow with flashlights, mirrors, and colorful cellophane sheets.
- June 16-Balance Lab--Explore balance with scales, weighted paper crafts, and our bodies.
- June 23-No Leap Into Science today--Join us at 11am for fantastic dragon puppet show with Master Puppeteer Markie Scholz.
- June 30-Wind Lab--Explore air and wind with fans, homemade wind detectors, and an air cannon.
The Leap Into Science curriculum was developed by the Franklin Institute.
