The Great Falls Public Library is hosting a special event celebrating the Heritage of Great Falls’ African American community on Thursday, May 12, at 6:00 pm. The program features African American culture, history, and cuisine. This free program, open to the public, is co-sponsored by the Alma Smith Jacobs Foundation, a non-profit promoting education, and the Great Falls Public Library.

A variety of speakers and performers will include Pastor Marcus Collins, Susie McIntyre, Kathy Reed, Kelly Lampkin, Crystal Benson with the Community Gospel Choir, Alexander Temple Saints Dancers, Mayor Bob Kelly, Ken Robison, and a sampling of Soul Food.
