May Book Groups

The OpenBooks discussion series, which runs October – May, concludes this season with a discussion on Thursday, May 4, 7:00 pm, in the Montana Room of the library.  The featured book is The Man Who Loved China by Simon Winchester. These discussions, which are sponsored by the Great Falls Public Library Foundation, are free and open to the public.  Penny Hughes-Briant facilitates.

Page Forward Saturdays will discuss 56 Counties: A Montana Journey by Russell Rowland on Saturday, May 13 10:00 am.  This group, which meets on the second Saturday of each month, features books by Montana authors or about Montana.

Page Forward Tuesdays will discuss Here If You Need Me by Kate Braestrup on Tuesday, May 23, 7:00 pm in the Montana Room of the library. It meets the fourth Tuesday of each month at 7:00 p.m. Like the OpenBook group, it offers an eclectic selection of books for discussion.

You may attend any and all of the discussions for these groups.  Books are available at the library for checkout three weeks prior to each discussion.  You will need a library card to check a book out.  Schedules for discussion groups are available at the library.  For more information on any of these groups call 453-0349.
