Mark your calendars for the Great Falls Public Library’s annual Book Tasting Party on Thursday, July 13, 7:00 pm. The premise of this event is that library patrons who have checked out undisclosed, wrapped books during the month of June will join together at this party to discuss their “blind date” books. Even if you did not check out a designated book, you are still invited to attend this party, enjoy the company of other book lovers and join the discussion. Light refreshments will be served.
This event is sponsored by the Friends of the Great Falls Public Library and hosted by the library’s Page Forward book discussion groups.
The Great Falls Public Library is hosting a book signing by Rollin’ Down the River author Larry Campbell on Tuesday, August 8, from noon – 2:00 pm in the lobby of the library. This book recounts Campbell’s 2016 road trip exploring the Missouri River. His trip began at the Missouri’s official source at Three Forks, Montana, toured through seven states and ended at the Missouri’s confluence with the Mississippi near St. Louis. The book contains spectacular photography and concise narrative of the Mighty Mo.
