Upcoming Kids’ Place Programming

Upcoming Kids’ Place Programming

Attention teddy bears, dolls, and stuffed animals of all descriptions: You’re invited to a sleepover at the Library! Join your humans for a special Pajama Storytime at 5:45 on November 14th. Ask them to pick you up at Storytime at 10:30 on November 15th. Stuffed animals will be provided free of charge so children who don’t have a furry friend with them can still participate.

NaNoWriMo (National Novel Writing Month) is an annual initiative that encourages would-be authors to get writing! In honor of NaNoWriMo, the Youth Services Department will be hosting 4 Word Warriors events this
November to inspire young writers 10-14. See calendar or Kids’ Place staff for details.

The Youth Services Department has launched a 1000 Books Before Kindergarten program to help Cascade County babies and kids 5 and under build early literacy skills and get ready for kindergarten. Pick up a reading log in Kids’ Place. Kids will earn reward stickers for every 100 books they read, and repeat readings count!

All Youth Services programs are free and open to the public.
