The Great Falls Public Library and the Great Falls Public Library Seed Exchange are sponsoring a five-part gardening and seed-saving series on Thursday evenings in March. These programs are free and open to the public and will be held in the Cordingley Room.

The Library will be showing the 78 minute documentary Seeds of Time: One Man’s Journey to Save the Future of Food. Seeds of Time (2013), directed by Sandy McLeod, tells the 30 year story of Cary Fowler’s work for crop and seed conservation in the face of our changing weather patterns.
March 29, 7:00 p.m.
The Library will offer a Seed Saving class taught by local farmer Jacob Cowgill. Jacob Cowgill), co-owner with Courtney Cowgill, of Prairie Heritage Farm and Blue Truck Bread located in Power, MT, has led several seed saving classes for the GFPL Seed Exchange over the last 2 years.
