Want someone to prepare your state and federal income taxes for you? Visit one of the many sites across the state with trained volunteers willing to help you.
VITA (Volunteer Income Tax Assistance): Available to those with a household income of $40,000 or less.

Electronic Filing

The Internal Revenue Service's alternative to paper filing is e-file. Individual, businesses and self-employed taxpayers can access information and providers of e-file services at the Internal Revenue Service pages.

Tax Forms Available at the Great Falls Public Library

A variety of federal and Montana tax forms are located on the second floor of the library near the Information desk. Federal tax forms are also available at the Great Falls office of the Internal Revenue Service, 501 Central Avenue, 3rd floor. In addition, you can download and print forms from:

If you do not have Internet access and are in need of a form that we do not carry, you can stop by the Information desk and we will download and print the form for you.
