If you are reading this, you're most likely a "friend" of your local public library already. If you would like to take your support and friendship one step further, and help champion our library in a meaningful way,

Friends are about the library and the community
Mission & Vision:
"Friends of the Library" is a volunteer organization that values, supports and champions the
public library in ways that can include, but are not limited to, advocacy, sponsorship and
organizing special events and projects for the library.

There are a number of possible activities that the local Friends group could sponsor or
become involved with for the library:

Library store
Young adult center
Advocacy & general support
Contest sponsorship
Book talks
Book Festival assistance
Summer picnic
Musical programs
Summer reading program
Mystery plays
Literacy programs
