Description:
Our goal is to encourage young adults to read for the fun of it and to improve and/or maintain the reading
level and skills they acquired during the previous school year. 

Young Adults (12- 18 year olds; must have completed 6th grade)

Goals
The Great Falls Public Library's Summer Reading Program is designed:

  • To encourage children of all ages to read for fun during the summer
  • To develop life long habits of daily reading
  • To share the joy of reading with their parents, family, and friends
  • To provide fun, interesting, informational, and age appropriate programming
  • For participation not competition

READING LOG GUIDELINES

  • Reading begins June 1st and ends July 30th

ACTIVITY ATTENDANCE GUIDELINES
Young Adults that choose to attend organized young adult activities are expected to:
  • Sign-in / sign-out and provide parental contact information
  • Remain with the group and in the building until parent/guardian arrives
  • Display respectful behavior towards others and to library property
  • Parent/guardian will be telephoned to come get young adult if the young adult need to leave the library due to inappropriate behavior

PARENTAL NOTE: 
Young Adults will be ready to leave the building precisely at 7:45 p.m.
